Tokeneke Club Wedding

I’m so excited to be sharing Tom and Clair’s elegant wedding day with you! Their love story is one spanning over 8 years and their day was so perfect – filled with all of the people who brought them together and loved them through their relationship up to this point! Tom and Clair met while they were freshmen in college at Gettysburg College through a mutual friend (who they now live down the street from!). After a few years of a long distance relationship, the two moved to NYC and lived there – Tom actually proposed down the street from their apartment building in December of 2016. Over the last year, these two have been planning their dream wedding together while enjoying their cozy weekends at home!

Although, according to Clair, she and Tom can be very different (in the best way possible!), they both agreed they wanted their big day to be fun, not fussy and full of elegance. Their ceremony was in their new hometown and they loved it because everyone has been so welcoming – they hope to bring their family to it as the years go by! And I love that they picked the Tokeneke Club for their reception because Clair used to spend summers there – plus the two of them have spent time there together over the years too! The Tokeneke Club is full of the nautical casual vibes these two wanted for their big day. I absolutely loved the way that Clair chose to decorate the space – full of gorgeous greenery to compliment the navy and white colors throughout their wedding. The vintage blue goblets, custom heraldry on their invitiations & table numbers and their embroidered napkins with their initials!

Their wedding day was certainly one for the books – full of personal touches and beautiful details the two spent time picking together. I feel so lucky to have been a small part of this incredible love story!
