Khrysty & Dylan knew of each other for a while, but did not officially meet until they both went to a 4th of July party at his neighbor’s house (where the bridal party photos were actually taken!).
Dylan proposed a a special place to the two of them at Block Island, which they have visited annually for the past 5 years! Everything about their wedding was so beautiful and intimate. Starting with the ceremony and reception being held in Dylan’s family home’s backyard surrounded by all their closest friends and family conducted by the mayor, to the DIY decorations and homemade lobster & clam bake overlooking the water! Personal touches for their wedding was very important to the couple. Dylan carved all of the table number fishes and signs, they set up their own tent, lights & decorations themselves and filled an old boat up with delicious beer!
Their wedding day started with a first look and bride & groom portraits while sailing in the Milford Yacht Club Marina, as well as Dylan setting off a canon! Followed by the guests being greeted by African drummers, watching the couple exchange their own vows on the water and entertained by an amazing 2 man band that kept the dance party going all night long! The bride and groom ended their night with sending off lanterns and watching them fly across the water to end the best day of their lives.
