Matt & Kelly met at Monmouth University but remained only friends throughout their MBA. Kelly moved to San Francisco for her job but she frequently visited NJ for holidays. Matt reached out over the holidays in 2013 and they stayed in touch ever since!

The next eight months held excitement, travel and love where the bi-coastal relationship grew. Travels to San Francisco, Carmel, Napa, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Jamaica with a final road trip across the US made the distance a little easier.

Kelly and Matt began their life together in Winter 2014 as a family with their dogs, Lily and Baxter on South Ave in Cranford, NJ.

Matt whisked Kelly away on a surprise weekend getaway filled with great food, wine and a row boat ended with being the #bestweekendever. With a secret backpack, Matt led Kelly down a rocky path in the woods on a lunchtime “hike”. Through the woods and down a cliff, overlooking the Catskill Mountains, Matt got on one knee and Kelly interrupted him with a kiss. Matt said, “you have to let me ask the question… Will you marry me?” Kelly said, “Yes, of course!” Matt then followed by saying, “you have the rest of your life to kiss me, you have to look at the ring”!
