When you hear the story of a couple who fell in love at first sight over a 1:00 AM tequila shot, you know their wedding is going to be anything but ordinary. Becky and Rob’s celebration at the historic Hamilton Farm Golf Club was the perfect reflection of their journey. Vibrant, deeply personal, and, above all, a “hell of a party”!

A Love Story Built on “The Rest is History”
Becky and Rob’s story began with a Hinge match and a bit of intimidation. Rob waited a full 48 hours to message her back! When they finally met for drinks in NYC, Rob was so excited he nearly knocked over his picnic table just to greet her. From a third-date flight to Chicago to bonding over a shared love for sour gummy candy and creative classes, these two knew early on that they had found their forever.

The Vision: Pink, Red, and Disco Balls
Becky and Rob described their wedding day in three words: Fun, Celebratory, and Eclectic. They wanted a “springtime festive” vibe that felt like a private party in a historic mansion.
The color palette was a stunning mix of bold pinks and muted reds (dark coral) with shimmering gold accents. To bring their eclectic vision to life, they blended classic elements with whimsical details:
- Chinoiserie Accents: Blue and white vases filled with bright blooms from Jardiniere Fine Flowers.
- Disco Balls: Adding a modern, “party-ready” shimmer to the classic ballroom.
- DIY Magic: The couple handcrafted party poppers for every place setting and curated a self-serve gummy candy bar as a nod to their favorite treat.
- Nostalgic Table Numbers: Using baby pictures labeled “When we were 1.”

The Wedding Day at Hamilton Farm
The historic Hamilton Farm Mansion provided a timeless backdrop for their “Springtime in December” vision. The couple shared an emotional First Look on the mansion’s iconic grand staircase, followed by portraits that captured their authentic, candid energy.
While the setting was historic, the atmosphere was high-energy. Between the dance party with bridesmaids and the 18-month-old flower girl, Lucy, and a “birds-eye view” shot from the balcony, every moment felt genuine. The ceremony was a beautiful testament to their bond, followed by a reception that saw all guests called to the dance floor for a massive group photo. Exactly the “celebratory” vibe Becky and Rob dreamed of.

Advice for Future Couples’ Wedding Planning
Becky’s takeaway from the planning process? Focus on the fun! By incorporating DIY details like their place-setting poppers and focusing on authentic moments over staged poses, they created a day that truly felt like them.
Becky and Rob are off to a “mini-moon” in St. John to soak up the sun before planning a bigger adventure this spring. Congratulations to the Huntoons!
