Now that spring is here and the pace has finally slowed down a bit, I’ve had a chance to look back on everything that made last year so special. After a whirlwind season of weddings all across New Jersey, it feels good to take a breath and reflect. Now seems like the perfect time to share a little something from the other side of the lens. It’s time to share the behind the scenes of my 2024 wedding season! You’ve seen the final galleries: the big moments, the beautiful portraits, the perfectly timed sunsets. But what you might not see are the smaller moments that happen behind the lens. These are the moments that make this job so fun. So, that’s why I want to share them today!
From fixing veils and wrangling bridal parties to dodging rain clouds and chasing light, this year was full of those moments. I hope that this candid look at the behind the scenes from my 2024 wedding season makes you laugh and smile. I loved going back through these little moments and sharing what makes my job as a New Jersey wedding photographer so special!
To my 2024 wedding photography couples — thank you.
Thank you for trusting me, for welcoming me into your most personal moments, and for letting me do what I love with so much heart. It’s an honor to be part of your day, and I don’t take that lightly. I felt like part of your family on your wedding days and it felt so wonderful to be a part of your stories – even just for a little bit.
Every wedding this year had its own energy, its own story. From intimate celebrations to full-on parties, each one had something that made it special. I feel lucky to have been there for all of it. There’s so much that goes into creating the photos you see! These behind-the-scenes moments tell a part of the story too.
If you’re newly engaged and planning for 2026 — I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up. Let’s talk! Until then, thank you again to everyone who made this year what it was. I’m so grateful for all of the beautiful memories and love stories I had the honor of capturing in 2024!
