2019, where did you go!? This past wedding season was packed with some fun-loving amazing weddings and couples!
I found out I was pregnant after my second wedding of the year – right after Memorial Day weekend. Shortly after, I attended Creative at Heart entrepreneurs conference in Raleigh, NC. It was a little tough traveling during the first trimester when you don’t feel 100%, for those mamas out there you know what I mean. For my business to grow, it’s always great to learn from others and was worth the trip!
Luckily my pregnancy was healthy and pretty relaxed so when photographing weddings, it was business as usual! Of course, I had to hide it for a couple of my weddings but I was so excited that I didn’t wait too long before spilling the beans. My husband and I managed to squeeze in a baby moon in August to Maine before photographing a destination wedding in the Berkshires of MA. For our last vacation before baby, we celebrated my husband’s birthday with a family trip to Aruba at the end of October after a busy fall wedding season. We returned just in time for my last wedding of the year in November. I am also happy to have delivered all of my clients’ wedding galleries before the end of the year!
Here is a recap of the Ashley Mac Photographs couples of 2019! Some of my couples were old friends and fellow wedding vendors, which was even more of an honor for me to be chosen to document their day! My team and I photographed in NYC at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral (checked something off of my bucket list), flew by a private helicopter with the bride and groom, photographed a cocktail hour at the 9th hole, and as always I love photographing in the area I’ve lived by all my life. I chose a few favorites of mine from each couples’ wedding day.
