Congratulations, Callie and Tommy! This spring, they hosted a beautiful wedding day at The Tokeneke Club in Darien CT. Inspired by their love of the water and Callie’s favorite flowers, they brought their San Francisco love story to the East Coast. It was truly a gorgeous wedding day and I’m thrilled I was with Callie and Tommy through it all.
Their Love Story
Callie and Tommy met through friends not long after Callie moved to San Francisco. At the time, Tommy was dating someone – but Callie didn’t think much of it. A few years passed and Tommy reached out to Callie (as she told me, he “slid into her DMs!”) – commenting on a post of her sister’s dog. And the rest… was history!
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in Connecticut
When Callie and Tommy began to plan their wedding, they knew that they wanted an energetic and happy day! They also knew that they wanted to be married outdoors. Since they live near the ocean in San Francisco, choosing The Tokeneke Club was easy for them. It turned out to be the perfect choice! Callie leaned into her love of bright flowers – choosing blues, pinks, yellows, and peaches for their decor and floral arrangements. Her wedding dress even had floral accents! It was beautiful, and I think she really brought those dreamy garden vibes to life. Just wait until you see their incredible reception!!!
The Tokeneke Club Wedding Day
Callie and Tommy spent their entire wedding day at The Tokeneke Club. With onsite suites to prepare, it was silly not to! After they were both ready, they met for a first look right along the waterfront. It was SO sweet and I know it was the perfect way for them to calm any lingering nerves before their oceanfront ceremony. Like I said before, Callie dreamed of flowers everywhere during their celebration – and both their ceremony and reception were overflowing with gorgeous bright flowers. It was so beautiful everywhere you looked!! I’m so obsessed with how their reception decor turned out – truly incredible. The Tokeneke Club was a blank canvas and Callie and Tommy truly brought an amazing look to their party! But, it wasn’t just the looks – everyone had a BLAST dancing the night away and celebrating.
