Congratulations, Tricia and Michael! This spring, they tied the knot at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. I absolutely LOVED working at this beautiful venue. It’s located right on the water and was a gorgeous option for this beautiful spring wedding filled with dusty blue, blush, and ivory details.
Their Love Story
Tricia and Michael met at the Columns, a local bar in Avon NJ right on the shoreline and immediately hit it off. When the pandemic hit in 2020, they wound up quarantining together and realized that there was something really special between them. After COVID, they moved back to Hoboken NJ and were engaged there! To celebrate, Tricia and Michael planned a party at their favorite bar, Finnegan’s Pub (and now have a yellow lab named Finnegan!). Tricia and Michael just work SO well together and it’s clear that they were always meant to be.
Spring Wedding in Point Pleasant NJ
Prior to their reception at Clarks Landing Yacht Club, Tricia and Michael prepared with their loved ones at home. It was special to see everyone come together and celebrate the newlyweds. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Tricia and her dad had a quiet moment together at home! It was super meaningful. She was able to have a first look with him as well as help him prepare outside!
Tricia and Michael chose to have a classic church ceremony at St. Dennis Church because that’s where Michael’s parents were married years ago. I think it’s so sweet that they continued the tradition for his family! Michael couldn’t hold back a grin as Tricia walked down the aisle to him.
Clarks Landing Yacht Club Wedding Reception
When they began to plan their spring wedding, Tricia and Michael knew that they wanted a traditional but fun celebration. Tricia and Michael bonded early on over their love of the Jersey Shore so a wedding along the waterfront was always a priority for them. Clarks Landing was a no brainer once they saw it! We made sure to capture many portraits of Tricia and Michael out on the beach – and the must have photo of their bridal party on the wooden docks made it in there too!
At their reception, my favorite detail had to be their table numbers. Each was inspired by a bar or restaurant that they loved and frequented during their relationship. How fun is that?! It was a great way to honor their special history. They also had their favorite band, the Pat Roddy Band, to keep their guests entertained during their reception – which I loved, too. Tricia and Michael really brought their unique story and selves to their wedding celebration!!
Congratulations Tricia and Micahel! I loved every moment of your waterfront wedding day at Clarks Landing Yacht Club!
