Izzy & Will are married! They planned an elegant but super fun wedding day that celebrated their coast-to-coast love story at Seabright Beach Club. Bringing the best of the end of summer and early fall into their decor and color palette meant their celebration was fun, colorful, and full of joy. I’m so happy I was able to celebrate with the new Mr. and Mrs. for their big day!
Their Love Story
Izzy and Will met in May of 2020 in Los Angeles, CA. Izzy had just moved to LA from NYC for her job and began pursuing Hinge for fun! In late May, Izzy and Will met up for a wine walk around the neighborhood that Will lived in at the time. Over a pizza dinner, they realized they had a lot in common and knew some of the same people. Since Izzy had just moved, she wasn’t sure she was ready for a new relationship but after a few dates with Will, that changed quickly! In August 2022, Will proposed outside their home in Hermosa Beach, CA. It was a perfect celebration of how their life had grown together!
Sea Bright Beach Club Wedding Day
Will’s parents are from New York and almost all of Izzy’s family still lives on the East Coast, so it made sense to bring the wedding to New Jersey! Izzy grew up going to the Seabright Beach Club, so it was a no brainer to celebrate their new life together there. Izzy and Will chose mid-September for their celebration, knowing they could bring the beach elements to their day that they wanted alongside some transitional fall colors. Plus, they worked hard to bring parts of their West Coast love story out to their East Coast wedding day! I personally love that their rehearsal dinner was California themed – featuring a taco bar and margaritas! I wish I’d been there!
Beach Wedding with Bright Colors
Izzy and Will held a traditional church ceremony and had a sweet first look before heading to the church. It was so special and I loved watching Will’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride. They were both full of smiles and laughs!! Afterwards, we were able to spend some time around Seabright Beach Club for their portraits – and with their bridal party – as well as making it out to the beach for some portraits too. I always enjoy a chance to get out on the sand with my couples. The wind is always amazing for movement and veil photos… plus they’re just beautiful! Izzy’s bright bouquet was the perfect pop of color against the sand and white walls of Seabright Beach Club!
Summer Wedding Reception at Sea Bright Beach Club
After their ceremony, the newlyweds welcomed their guests back to the reception at Seabright Beach Club! Izzy and Will chose beautiful bright colors for their reception decor – leaning into the bright pinks, oranges, and yellows that teased at fall while still bringing a pop of summer to the room. They made sure to include their dog Lola on their cake topper, and even had her floating in everyone’s drinks! It was a super cute way to bring their girl into their day!
