Their Love Story
Casey and Garrett met in college at Bucknell, as they were both on the ski team. Being active is something that has stayed as a pillar in their relationship. From skiing, snowboarding, or Garrett teaching Casey how to surf at the Jersey Shore – they always have a wonderful time together.
Bonnet Island Estate Wedding Inspiration
Both Garrett and Casey grew up going to the beach. Garrett loves the Shore and Casey spent time on Cape Cod. Being near the water is important to them both, so planning a wedding day at a venue tied to the water made the most sense. As they dreamed up their wedding, they pulled much of their inspiration from the beach and their own personalities. Bonnet Island Estate was their top choice – and they told me they fell in love with the venue right away. It’s hard not to! Bonnet Island Estate sits on a private island, taking inspiration from the coastal mansions of New England. It’s a gorgeous option for a beautiful and relaxed wedding day along the waterfront.
Fall Wedding at Bonnet Island Estate
Casey and Garrett tied the knot in the fall, and decided to keep a neutral color scheme for their big day. The tans and ivories looked amazing against the backdrop of Bonnet Island Estate – especially the stone chapel where they exchanged their vows. Pops of blue in their bridal party and invitation suite brought some color into the day, and I’m honestly still obsessed with the overflowing baby’s breath all over their reception inside the ballroom. It was stunning!
