When Lori reached out and met me for coffee over a year ago to talk about her wedding, I was especially excited because we went to high school and ran track together! I love all of my couples but when I get the honor to photograph a wedding of a friend or even an friend of a friend, it means so much to me! I honestly feel special being the one they chose to document their wedding day and the love they share through my images.
My favorite part of Lori & Paul’s wedding, well I had two favorite memories!
First was when I was photographing all of Lori’s details in her father’s office/firetruck room while she was getting her hair and makeup done. Her dad came in and chit chatted with me and my assistant/sister all about Red Bank and the fire dept. (since he is the fire chief!) and how excited he was for his daughter’s wedding! I always have a sweet spot for the father of bride since I am so close with my father myself and can’t help tearing up every time during the father daughter dance!
Second was the wedding song Lori & Paul chose, “I want to grow old with you” by Adam Sandler from the movie the Wedding Singer- one of my favorite movies! I have to say this is the first time I have heard this one as a couple’s wedding and first dance song but I truly loved it!
Congrats Lori & Paul! I wish you all the best!
