One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is getting to walk alongside couples through multiple chapters of their lives. For Meg and Nick, that meant photographing not just one big moment, but three: engagement, wedding, and maternity (all within just 15 months).

Their story beautifully shows why choosing a photographer who can grow with you makes such a difference.

Engagement: The Beginning of It All

We first connected for Meg and Nick’s engagement session, where they laughed, cuddled, and celebrated this exciting “just said yes” season. Engagement sessions are so important because they let couples get comfortable in front of the camera and with me, it sets the tone for everything that comes next.

For Meg and Nick, it was a chance to practice, play, and see what felt natural for them. That comfort carried directly into their wedding day.

Wedding: The Big Day

Fast forward a few months to their wedding, where the joy, emotion, and energy were unmatched. Because I had already photographed them as an engaged couple, they didn’t have to think twice about how to pose, how to interact, or how to trust me with the camera.

Instead, they got to be fully present in the moment, knowing that every candid laugh, tear, and dance-floor twirl was being captured. Having that continuity made their wedding photos feel even more authentic, and their gallery told the story of their love in such a natural way.

Maternity: A New Chapter

Just when I thought their story couldn’t get sweeter, Meg and Nick invited me back again this time to celebrate the next step in their journey: becoming parents. Their maternity session was calm, joyful, and full of anticipation for what’s ahead.

Seeing them go from engaged to married to parents in such a short time reminded me of why I love what I do. It’s not just about a single day or session. It’s about documenting the chapters of a love story as it unfolds.

Why Growing With Your Photographer Matters

Meg and Nick’s story is proof of the beauty that comes from consistency. When you choose one photographer to document your milestones, you:

  • Build comfort in front of the camera.
  • Develop trust with someone who already knows your story.
  • Create a cohesive visual legacy, with images that flow seamlessly across the seasons of your life.

For Meg & Nick, that meant their galleries—engagement, wedding, and maternity, all feel connected, like a visual timeline of their love.

And that’s the heart of why I do what I do. Because your story doesn’t stop after the wedding day, it keeps growing, changing, and becoming even more beautiful. If you’re starting your own journey, whether it’s an engagement, wedding, or a new season of family life, I’d be honored to grow with you.

Congrats! Let me show ya around.
