Sara and Bill are college sweethearts who were married in beautiful Thompson Park exactly one week ago! The two met at Rider college – at orientation – and as Sara told me, once they started hanging out, there was no turning back for them!! They quickly grew their friendship into a beautiful relationship and now, almost 8 years later, they’ve tied the knot!! Their June wedding was inspired by Disney, something these Disney lovers couldn’t imagine their day not having!

 

Sara expressed that she wanted their day to subtly feature the classic love stories of Disney without being over the top. Their day at the Crystal Ballroom came together perfectly with a lovely color scheme featuring navy blue, blush and hints of silver. Sara handmade all of the incredible centerpieces for their day with each one featuring a different Disney couple. She also included some simple touches to bring more Disney magic to their day – like the Happily Ever After cake topper and the Cinderella-esque card holder! And, of course, her princess inspired wedding gown.

 

The magic of their day didn’t end there though. After almost 8 long years (in the best way!), these two finally got to be married so their day was filled to the brim with emotional moments that I just loved capturing. There’s something so beautiful about a couple so in love – and tearing up reading their vows and through their ring exchange. I feel so lucky to have been able to capture their special day because of these moments!
