Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury Wedding

Amanda and Kevin’s May wedding was breathtaking in more ways than one! I’m so excited to be sharing their gorgeous day on the blog with you.

Although Amanda and Kevin met in college as freshmen at Saint Joseph’s University, it took two trips to Europe for the two to fall in love. As Amanda says, “Some may say the luck of the Irish is a myth, but in our experience it definitely holds true. In Ireland we were just days apart from being in the same spot and visiting the same landmarks, so we both made a plan to meet up back in the States to exchange stories.” After growing up so close together in the States, it’s amazing that two different trips to Ireland is what brought these lovebirds together! They started planning their wedding and fell in love with Shadowbrook, which turned out to be the perfect place for their big day!

Every detail of their wedding and reception was planned perfectly, making their gorgeous blush, rose gold and navy filled day come to life! Guests even received a “lucky in love” lottery ticket as a favor for coming. I mean, how fun is that?! Amanda looked incredible in her Provonais gown and the flowers that were chosen for their bouquets perfectly complimented the attire for the event. When I asked Amanda what she would tell other brides planning their special days, she said: “Stay calm and enjoy all the little moments leading up to the big day! Appreciate all of the help and time that family and friends gave over the course of your engagement to prepare for the wedding!”

Although their day was incredible start to finish, my favorite part of Amanda and Kevin’s wedding was when her dad was brought up by the band to sing and play on guitar “Hotel California”. Saying everyone loved it is definitely an understatement!! The entire wedding party was going crazy (in the best way!) and you could tell it was emotional for Amanda and her family!! Such an amazing memory for everyone to have forever.
