The Estate at Florentine Gardens Classic Wedding

Congratulations to Katelynn and Sam on tying the knot this past weekend! Woo! Their gorgeous May wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens was absolutely perfect. I loved being back at this venue to photograph their classic wedding day. Sam and Katelynn met at a sorority and fraternity party at Ramapo College. Now, 8 years later, they’ve officially become husband and wife! Their first date took place on Valentine’s Day and they got engaged while on a Disney vacation together. Their love story really does feel like a fairytale – it was so special to be able to capture this moment for them.

Katelynn and Sam knew from the start that they wanted a traditional and fun wedding. After a ton of venue tours, they decided on the Estate at Florentine Gardens because of the feeling they got when visiting there. It turned out to be the perfect location for their special day. Katelynn and Sam decided to have a first look – and the gardens were absolutely stunning for that special moment. And the ceremony set up?! Wow! What a gorgeous wedding on a truly gorgeous day. This couple also made sure their wedding day was full of one of the biggest things they love: good food! And can we talk about how absolutely gorgeous Katelynn looked in her gown? She told me it made her feel like a princess – and after getting engaged at Disney, she absolutely should be a princess on her wedding day!

When I asked Katelynn what she would tell other brides, she told me that she recommends planning as much in advance as you can so that you can just enjoy the day. And I totally agree! Their day was perfect because they had planned everything so well. I had two favorite parts of Katelynn and Sam’s wedding: first, definitely was the weather! It has been so rainy and gross leading up to their wedding but our Memorial Day weekend was really kicked off with some beautiful weather to celebrate these two! My second, was all of the bridesmaids tossing confetti when they were getting ready! You have to see the photos, they couldn’t be more epic! it was just a blast celebrating with them!! Congratulations again, Katelynn and Sam and hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon in Fiji!
