Congratulations to Hope and Dan! Their stunning fall wedding full of rustic, elegant decor was a pleasure to be a part of. Every detail was perfect and these two are so in love – it was clear to see how happy they were all day long!
The Couple
Hope and Dan’s meeting was fate! While Hope was out with her best friend (and a mutual friend of Dan’s), Dan saw her and asked their friend for Hope’s number. He wound up texting Hope the next day and after the two began dating, they knew it was meant to be. Dan’s proposal was a bit spur of the moment – he had been carrying the ring around waiting for the perfect moment! It turned out to be at Hope’s parent’s home, in the room he first told Hope he loved her. What a sweet moment for them both!
Along with their dog and cat, Hope and Dan began dreaming of their perfect wedding day. As two fall lovers, they knew that their wedding day would be beautiful in the fall. They also knew they wanted a tented reception and a golf course involved. It was no surprise they chose the gorgeous West Hills Country Club for their special day!
West Hills Country Club Wedding
Hope and Dan lucked out with a beautiful fall day for their West HIlls Country Club wedding day and their incredible vendors brought together the rustic, elegant outdoor wedding they’d hoped for. Sticking with a beautiful color palette of dusty blues, greens, pale pinks, and cream, their day was light and elegant. Definitely the perfect romantic atmosphere for them to tie the knot! I know all of us were glad the weather was so nice for their outdoor ceremony and reception under the tent!
Since Hope and Dan stayed with tradition and opted not to do a first look, our portrait time was limited to cocktail hour. But, we had the most beautiful sunset so it all worked out! Just wait until you see their wedding portraits! Some of my favorites for sure! After we wrapped up their portraits, it was time for them to see the magic under the tent! Their amazing florist, Whisper and Brook Floral Company created various arrangements for the tables weaving in gold accents throughout the designs. It was so elegant!! With a naked cake and homemade jam (from Hope and Dan’s garden!), the rustic elements brought everything together. It was such a beautiful reception – and totally what Hope and Dan envisioned!
When I asked Hope what she might tell other brides planning their wedding day, she said to “try to enjoy the ride as much as you can with wedding planning. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming, but everything works itself out in the end.” I think she was absolutely right!
My Favorite Part…
Although all of Hope and Dan’s wedding day was stunning, my favorite part of the day were definitely the bouquets and florals. Whisper and Brook Floral Company did an amazing job on everything…. But especially Hope’s magical bouquet and the ones her bridesmaids carried! And an extra shoutout for providing me with extra loose flowers to play with for the details. I absolutely love when that happens!!!
