Jen and Marc decided to get married on the beach in Saint Pete Beach, Florida and let me tell you, as the weather changes, I could not have been more grateful to be a part of their laid back beachy and warm destination wedding day! Jen and Marc actually went to high school together but honestly weren’t friends until years later, when they started to see each other at common hang out places. They reconnected after running into each other a few times and on Christmas eve in 2016, Marc proposed to Jen. Marc convinced Jen to get up and look at something on the tree and while she was up, he had her turn around and he was kneeling with her beautiful engagement ring. How sweet is that?! So intimate and romantic, just them in their home! I love it!!
After that, the two began to plan their destination beach wedding, wanting something simple and enjoyable surrounded by all of their friends and family. They planned a stunning day full of turquoise, coral, and gold details – accenting their beach venue perfectly!!
This wedding was very special for me to photograph for two reasons: the first was that my husband was my assistant photographer for the first time and he did phenomenally! The second was that 3 of my former couples were in attendance and we were able to get a photograph together! I feel so lucky that this is my job!!
