Krista and Sal had a beautiful rustic Ryland Inn wedding with a twist of glam this fall and I felt so honored to be a part of their special day! The two envisioned a beautiful day that was filled with the people they love most around them and that’s the day they had. The Ryland Inn is a gorgeous Whitehouse Station New Jersey wedding venue that fit their vision perfectly!
The Couple
The happy couple met through mutual friends while at a bar in Hoboken. After their first meeting, the two reconnected online a few months later. When they both ordered mango-flavored margaritas, they knew they had something special! As Krista told me, “The rest was history!”. Krista and Sal love spending time together with their puppy, cooking, watching Netflix (who doesn’t, really?) and working out together. The two also love finding new restaurants to try and be inspired by! I know they enjoyed planning their gorgeous wedding together too!!
The Proposal
While planning a housewarming party for their new apartment, Sal popped out to get some ice (or so he told Krista!). When he came back into the apartment, he actually had a puppy!!! Stanly, their mini goldendoodle puppy, had a name tag on that read “Will you marry me?”. While Sal kneeled, Krista said YES!! Shortly after, the two went down to one of the apartment’s party rooms and there, Krista and Sal’s family and friends were waiting to celebrate with them! So sweet!!!!!
The Ryland Inn Wedding Day
When Krista and Sal began to dream of their wedding day, they focused on rustic glam inspiration. The Ryland Inn has a gorgeous grand ballroom and while searching for a venue, it truly spoke for itself. Having a beautiful venue locked in, the rest of the wedding fell into place quickly. Krista and Sal took a lot of inspiration from Etsy searches and settled on a rose gold, green, and ivory color scheme to deck out their September wedding. I also love that they wanted a September wedding because it’s Krista’s favorite song by Earth, Wind and Fire. Yes!
Krista and Sal kept their bridal party small with 4 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, all their family and closest and oldest friends. It’s so nice when your bridal party is full of people who love you most!!! The bridesmaids wore amazing white jumpsuits that I still can’t get over and the groomsmen looked amazing in their navy suits too. But the stunning details of their wedding didn’t stop there! Stanley made an appearance on his fur parents’ wedding day with Krista’s godmother! As the ring bearer and flower girl respectively, they stole everyone’s hearts during the sunset ceremony! With Sal’s father officiating the ceremony, their wedding day was full of family and love!
The two tied the knot during a gorgeous sunset ceremony – there was nothing more beautiful than Krista and Sal exchanging vows while the sun sank lower. Seriously so dreamy! After their romantic ceremony, it was time to party! Krista and Sal told me multiple times that they really wanted their wedding day to be fun – and it was! Everyone definitely enjoyed themselves!!!! With donut favors, a jumpsuit change for the bride, and confetti cake, Krista and Sal’s reception was amazing!
My Favorite Part…
Although I loved all of Krista and Sal’s elegant and rustic Ryland Inn wedding day, the style of these two is what I LOVED the most! Krista’s bridesmaids’ jean jackets and jumpsuits were incredible and definitely the key to my heart. They all looked incredible!!! And Krista has the best taste. She chose a truly beautiful gown and looked amazing too! Oh and did I mention she was wearing converse sneakers?! She really is a bride after my own heart!
Krista and Sal, congratulations! Your wedding day was absolutely stunning and I’m so happy I could be there to document your special memories for you! Thank you for inviting me to celebrate with you at the Ryland Inn!
